Saudi Aramco extends two rig contracts with Noble Corp.

Noble Corporation has secured contract extensions for two of its offshore jack-up drilling rigs in the Middle East.

Saudi Arabian oil company Saudi Aramco has decided to exercise its option to extend the contracts for the rigs Noble Joe Beall and Noble Gene House which have been on contract with the company since November 2011.

The contract for the Noble Joe Beall will now last until November 2015 at $81,000 per day. The Noble Gene House contract will now expire in late November 2015 at the same, $81.000 per day rate.
