    Cargotec’s MacGREGOR business area providing marine cargo handling and offshore solutions, has received an order for ship cranes and hatch covers, which will be delivered for 10 general cargo ships. The ships will be built at a Chinese shipyard for German shipowner Herman Buss. The value of the order is approximately EUR 20 million.

    Indian defence minister, AK Antony, has publicly confirmed that the Indian Navy is slated to induct a third aircraft carrier by 2017. The ship would be in addition to the INS Vikramaditya (ex-Admiral Gorshkov) and the so far unnamed indigenous Air Defence Ship (ADS) currently under construction at the Kochi shipyard.
