    In a deal trumpeted by the shipyard as the most expensive commercial ship ever to be built, Norway’s Aker Yards said in a statement Monday that Miami-headquartered Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines had placed an order for a 360-metre cruise ship worth about 900 million euros.

    On Saturday 30 June 2007, the name-giving ceremony and launch of the 11,650m3 trailing suction hopper dredger BRABO took place at the IHC Holland Merwede shipyard in Kinderdijk. The ship is being built for the Belgian contractor DEME N.V. (Dredging, Environmental and Marine Engineering N.V.).
