    The Danish National Bank has issued a new coin with a maritime motif, a prototype of the world’s largest container carrier Emma Mærsk which was delivered from Odense Steel Shipyard in 2006. The ship now has an official capacity of 15,550 TEUs.

    Australian Incat are building a LNG-fuelled high speed catamaran on the shipyard in Hobart, Tasmania. The buyer is still undisclosed but the vessel will have a capacity of 1,000 passengers, 153 cars and it is to be delivered in 2012. The vessel, with hull number 069, will be 99 metres long.
