Exploration in a mature basin

Executives from Tulip Oil, Discover Exploration and Nordsøfonden will present their views on exploration in a mature basin. Imad Mohsen, CEO of Tulip Oil, will share his views on what he sees exciting prospects for Dutch offshore exploration. Alexander Mollinger, COO at Discover Exploration, has announced to speak on how to unlock potential in a mature, yet prospective basin.

Competing for marine space

Prominent guests from the European Commission and NOGEPA will talk about how various economic activities at sea influence spatial planning. Xavier Guillou, Policy Officer, European Commission will talk about EU policy & regulations and the Blue Growth strategy. Marieke van den Akker, Legal Council, NOGEPA will share her views on regulations and the NEXSTEP Regulatory Committee membership.

Subsea cable systems

CWind and DNV GL will share their views on will present the latest insights and technical challenges of powering offshore installations. Andrew Lloyd, Director of Power Cables, CWind will present how to look after the growing wind power infrastructure.

Innovation, collaboration and cost-reduction

High-level representatives from Bluestream Offshore and Maersk Decom will share their insights on cost-reducing innovations.  Jens Klit Thomsen, Chief Commercial Officer, Maersk Decom, will discuss examples of innovation and collaboration from past projects and how they resulted in significant cost and time savings. Malcolm Newton, Senior Inspection Engineer, Bluestream Offshore, will share his views on reducing cost of subsea inspections and utilizing the advances in compact ROV systems and inspection tooling.

Offshore transport, installation and removal

Distinguished speakers from Allseas, Boskalis and Bourbon will discuss the latest additions to the global offshore fleet designed for the various activities required in the world of offshore oil, gas and wind. Edward Heerema, President, Allseas, will showcase the single-lift installation and removal of large offshore platforms by vessel Pioneering Spirit. Yvan Leyni, Engineering and Projects Director,

Bourbon will offer a new perspective on floating offshore wind installation. Jack Spaan, Expert Heavy Lift, Boskalis will discuss their offshore energy fleet developments.

Late life operations

Join our honored speakers from SGS and Shell/Nam who will present their late-life strategies. Nolda Tipping, Project and Turnaround Manager, Shell / NAM, will offer insight into a new future through decomplexing. Mike Gunningham, Chief Production Technologist, SGS, will share how to bring late life back to mid-life in product optimization.

Decommissioning and re-use
