Songa Offshore: One rig stacked waiting for work

Songa Offshore, an international drilling company, has informed that Songa Venus semi-submersible drilling rig is stacked in Malaysia where it pursues future work.

Songa Venus is stacked in Labuan, Malaysia, where it pursues future work. The rig was, as previously announced, sold to Opus Offshore in July 2014 and is on a bare-boat contract back to Songa Offshore until the earlier of 31 March 2015 and the beginning of the rig’s SPS.

Songa Delta achieved an operational efficiency of 100% and an earnings efficiency of 98% working for Statoil in Norway.

Songa Trym achieved an operational efficiency of 100% and an earnings efficiency of 97% during the month working for Statoil in Norway.

Songa Dee continued its SPS (Special Periodic Survey) in Invergordon Scotland, where it arrived on August 24. The SPS progresses within planned cost and schedule and with a progress as of today of approximately 70%. The rig will continue its contract with Statoil when the SPS is completed.
