South Korea: Feb LNG Imports Down

South Korea, the world’s second-largest buyer of LNG, imported 4.14 million tonnes of LNG in February, down 11% from the same month in 2012, customs data showed.

The country imported 3.98 million tonnes of LNG in January, up 38% compared to January in 2012.

South Korea paid $3.23 billion for the LNG imported in February, compared with $3.45 billion a year earlier.
