South Korea: Kogas April sales drop

South Korea’s Kogas, the world’s largest corporate buyer of LNG, informed its sales volume totaled 2.09 million mt for the month of April, down 14.5 pct on the same month the previous year.

According to the company’s filing to the stock exchange, gas sales into the power sector reached 876,000mt, a decrease of 22.8 percent from the same month in 2015.

City gas sales fell 7.4 percent on year, reaching 1.22 million mt of LNG, Kogas said.

Kogas’ sales volume totaled 3.14 million mt in March, 4.4 percent down on the same month the previous year.
