South Korea: LNG Imports Up in July

South Korea imported 2.76 million tonnes of LNG in July, up 22.5% from the same month in 2011, customs data showed.

The country’s LNG imports rose 15,5% in June to 2.25 million tonnes of LNG, compared to June in 2011.

South Korea’s KOGAS, the world’s largest corporate buyer of liquefied natural gas, plans to import about 36,46 million tonnes of LNG this year.
