Vroon's Two Bitumen - Asphalt Tankers Named at HMD

Double naming ceremony for MT Iver Bright and MT Iver Brilliant took place yesterday, Tuesday 22 May 2012, at the Hyundai Mipo Dockyard, Ulsan, South Korea.

The Iver Bright was named by Mrs Metos Delgado-van de Bospoort, wife of Mr Frans van de Bospoort, Managing Director Chemical, LPG & Product Tanker Group DVB Bank. The Iver Brilliant was christened by Mrs Jillian Hill, Close friend of the Vroon family.

The vessels are 6,050-ton Bitumen/Asphalt tankers, constructed to ice-class requirements. Iver Brilliant is the last of 19 vessels constructed for Vroon Offshore Services (Vroon) at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard from 2005 on.

The Iver Bright will be delivered to Vroon on 30 May and Iver Brilliant will be delivered mid July.
