Under the move, Hoegh’s finance chief Havard Furu, will also become the partnership’s CFO.

To remind, this follows the decision of Steffen Foreid to resign as the CEO and CFO of Hoegh LNG Partners.

His resignation is effective from August 21.

“I am very happy to take on the role as CEO for the Partnership,” Stohle said in a statement.

With new management, the firm will continue to build its position as the “preferred provider of FSRU services”.

“We remain dedicated to maintaining our reliable, attractive distribution and to sustaining the Partnership’s presence in the US market, ” Stohle said.

Hoegh LNG Partners currently operates a fleet of five floating storage and regasification units tied under long-term charters.
