Taiwan is expected to receive a liquefied natural cargo from the world’s largest LNG exporter, Qatar this week.

The 162,000 cbm Adam LNG is scheduled to dock at CPC’s Yung An LNG terminal located at Kaohsiung, in southern Taiwan on Wednesday, port data reveals.

Taiwan has two regasification terminals, located in the central and southern parts of the island.

State-owned CPC is also planning to build a third LNG import terminal to serve the northern region near Taipei.
