Tepco July LNG imports down YoY

Japan’s utility Tokyo Electric Power (Tepco) said its imports of LNG in July were at 2.12 million tonnes, compared to 2.4 million tonnes in July of 2013.

Tepco used 2.03 million tons of LNG in July, compared to 2.04 million tonnes the company consumed in July last year.

In April-July period, TEPCO bought 7.73 million tonnes and consumed 7.42 million tonnes of LNG.
