Tepco May LNG Imports at 1.72 Million Tonnes

Japan’s utility Tokyo Electric Power (Tepco) said its imports of LNG in May were at 1.72 million tonnes, compared to 1.97 million tonnes in May of 2013.

Tepco used 1.8 million tons of LNG in May, compared to 1.82 million tonnes the company consumed in May last year.

In April-May period, TEPCO bought 3.72 million tonnes and consumed 3.6 million tonnes of LNG.
