The Netherlands: Hereema’s H-627 Barge Returns after Clair Ridge Project

On date 06. January 2013 a Hereema’s very large barge called H-627, returned to Vlissingen after finishing the project BP Clair Ridge.

The North Sea barge called at BOW terminal upon request of VDS Offshore construction. In co-operation with VDS and Heerema, preparations has been undertaken to unload 2 pieces of 180 tons ballast tanks and the spreaders of heavy crane vessel Thialf (weight 300 tons per unit). The barge itself has dimensions 170 mtr x 47 mtr. The works are scheduled during week 2 and 3 and will take place first at BOW terminal. Later this week the barge will move to VDS premises.
