New Managing Director for Gate LNG

N.V. Nederlandse Gasunie and Royal, main shareholders in Gate terminal, announce the appointment of Dick Meurs as Managing Director of Gate terminal BV.

On 1st April 2012 he will succeed Branko Pokorny who has been responsible for the development and realization of the terminal since 2008. With the official opening of Gate terminal and the start of commercial operations of the terminal in September 2011, Branko Pokorny has successfully closed his assignment.

Dick Meurs, current managing director of Vopak Venezuela, will be responsible for the operations and further development of Gate terminal. He has extensive international experience in managing companies in the maritime industry regarding shipping, logistics and terminal operations. Before joining Vopak in 2008 he was director Maersk Logistics South America and helt various senior management positions at P&O Nedlloyd in South America, Asia and Europe.
