Klaipedos Nafta, the operator of Lithuania’s first LNG import terminal, signed contracts with three terminal users that have allocated part of the capacity before the start of new gas year.

The three companies that have pre-booked the capacity at the terminal are Litgas, Lietuvos dujų tiekimas and Achema.

This is the first time in the almost three years of operation of the LNG terminal, where up to three terminal users have reserved terminal capacities in advance, Klaipedos Nafta said.

The terminal operator said the companies will import a total of 11 conventional LNG cargoes.

The Lithuanian fertilizer producer Achema, booked LNG regasification capacities of 5,611,730,000 kWh for the period from April 1, 2018, to September 30, 2018.
