Tidal Energy seeks DeltaStream manufacturer
Tidal Energy Ltd is looking for contractors for the procurement, manufacture and assembly of a DeltaStream tidal energy turbine, with tenders expected to be issued in October 2016.
The design of the device and the intellectual property for the turbine will be provided by Tidal Energy Ltd. Manufacturing could be carried out anywhere within the EU, but the delivery and final assembly of the turbine will take place in Wales.
The contract is valued at GBP 5 million.

In December 2015, Tidal Energy Ltd deployed a 400 kW demonstration DeltaStream device into Ramsey Sound, off Pembrokeshire, Wales.
