The world’s largest containership, MV Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller, arrived in Rotterdam on Friday 16th August 2013, on her maiden voyage from Asia to Europe. The nautical service providers and KOTUG’s RT Champion welcomed the vessel.
In a major milestone for the Panama Canal Expansion Program, the first four gates for the new locks arrived from port of Trieste, Italy to the waterway’s Atlantic side on board the semi-submersible vessel STX Sun Rise this morning.
The Bechtel-led ROPES (Research on Passing Effects on Ships) Joint Industry Project has reached its final testing phase.
