Today Maersk Drilling has taken delivery of its first ultra deepwater drillship, Maersk Viking, from the Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI) shipyard in Geoje-Si, South Korea.
The naming ceremony at Rosyth dockyard in Fife on Friday 4 July 2014 will mark the completion of the 65,000-tonne ship which will be Britain’s biggest ever carrier.
