Trinidad and Tobago dispatches two LNG cargoes

Trinidad and Tobago’s Point Fortin LNG export plant shipped a cargo of the chilled gas on Monday to the Dominican Republic.

The cargo is being carried by the 138,200 cbm British Innovator, and it is due to arrive at the AES Andres LNG terminal around September 9, shipping data says.

According to the data, LNG carrier Arctic Voyager, with a capacity of 140,000 cbm, also left the liquefaction plant at Point fortin late Monday on its way to Spain’s Bilbao terminal.

The four-train liquefaction facility located on the southwest coast of Trinidad is the sixth largest LNG producer in the world, and the largest such producer in the Western Hemisphere.
