Trinidad Exports LNG Cargo

Trinidad and Tobago’s Point Fortin LNG terminal shipped a cargo of liquefied natural gas on Tuesday, according to shipping data.

The cargo is being hauled by the British Trader, a 138,000 cubic-meter tanker, and it is sailing to the AES Andres LNG terminal in the Dominican Republic.

Trinidad and Tobago’s Point Fortin LNG terminal is one of the world’s largest producers of liquefied natural gas and the plant consists of four trains.

The plant has a capacity of 15.5 million mt per annum.
