Trinidad LNG Heads for Argentina

Trinidad and Tobago’s Point Fortin LNG terminal shipped a cargo of  liquefied natural gas to Argentina on May 9, according to shipping data.

The cargo is being hauled by the Sestao Knutsen, a 138.000 cubic-meter tanker, and it is due to arrive at the Escobar terminal in Argentina on May 22.

Trinidad and Tobago’s Point Fortin LNG terminal produced 14,664,884 mt of LNG in 2011.

It is one of the world’s largest producers of liquefied natural gas and the plant consists of four trains.
