DEME Offshore’s jack-up vessel Sea Installer has arrived at the East Anglia ONE offshore wind farm carrying the first load of wind turbine components.

Sea Installer departed from Great Yarmouth at around noon, Thursday, 20 June, and arrived at the East Anglia ONE wind farm some four hours later, AIS data shows.

Located 43 kilometres off the Suffolk coast in the UK, the 714MW East Anglia ONE will comprise 102 Siemens Gamesa 7MW wind turbines scheduled for commissioning in 2020.

The GBP 2.5 billion wind farm is owned and developed by ScottishPower Renewables, a subsidiary of Spain’s Iberdrola.
