Turkey: ANADOLU Shipyard’s Delegation Pays Visit to ASELSAN

The management of ANADOLU Shipyard recently visited ASELSAN, Turkish Electronics Manufacturer giant. As it may be recalled, ANADOLU Shipyard is closely cooperating with ASELSAN on several Navy projects.

ANADOLU Shipyard delegation consisted of Chairman M.Faruk Ürkmez, CEO Ertuğ Yaşar, Defense Group Coordinator Admiral (ret) Metin Poyrazlar and Director of Guns & Weapons System Deniz Celbiş.

ASELSAN cordially welcomed ANADOLU Shipyard delegation with General Manager Cenigz Ergeneman accompanied by Mr. Fuat Akçaöz, Mrs. Gönül Tetik, Mr. Ünal Koyaz and Mrs. Tuba Akıncılar Tan.

Two companies had an open and very constructive discussions on

• Landing Craft Tank (LCT) project where they closely cooperate;
• possible export opportunities for LCT vessels;
• recent developments about Landing Ship Tank (LST) project of ANADOLU Shipyard;
• possible contract between both companies for LST project etc.
