 U.S. Jack-Up Rig Owner Implements IFS Applications

IFS, the global enterprise applications company, announces that a major North American offshore oil and gas drilling company has signed a contract to implement IFS Applications as its enterprise asset management (EAM) software system.

The company will implement IFS Applications for Offshore Service to support maintenance operations. The solution will include projects, maintenance and IFS Instant Replication, a unique solution for rapid replication of data between offshore rigs or vessels and onshore facilities. The application suite will be delivered through an Applications as a Service (AaaS) cloud service offered by IFS North America.

The customer operates jack-up rigs located worldwide, including the Middle East, the North Sea, Trinidad, Southeast Asia and the Gulf of Mexico.

The upstream Oil & Gas industry is one of IFS’s core markets.
