U.S. offshore rigs claw up to 35

Baker Hughes has again posted its Weekly Rig Count reports for the U.S. and Canada. U.S. Offshore rigs recorded a slight rise in numbers.

 

BHI Rig Count: U.S. Unchanged at 787 rigs

U.S. Rig Count is unchanged from last week at 787, with oil rigs down 1 to 594, and gas rigs up 1 to 193.

U.S. Rig Count is down 1,140 rigs from last year at 1,927, with oil rigs down 1,001, and gas rigs down 139.
The U.S. Offshore rig count is 35, up 2 rigs from last week, and down 20 rigs year over year.


 

BHI Rig Count: Canada +9 at 190 rigs
Canadian Rig Count is up 9 rig from last week at 190, with oil rigs up 8 to 84, and gas rigs up 1 to 106.

Canadian Rig Count is down 236 rigs from last year at 426, with oil rigs down 148, and gas rigs down 88.
