UAE: Lamprell to Refurbish and Upgrade 5 Jack-up Rigs

Lamprell, a leading provider of diversified engineering and contracting services to the onshore and offshore oil & gas and renewables industry, announces that it has secured orders from multiple clients during Q1 2012 to undertake a number of jackup rig upgrade and refurbishment projects, with a combined contract value of approximately US$ 62 million.

These projects include a contract with RDC Qatar Inc. for the refurbishment and upgrade of its jackup drilling rig Gilbert Rowe and several contracts with Noble Drilling International Limited for upgrade works on the Noble Gus Androes, the Noble Charles Copeland, the Noble George Mcleod and the Noble Chuck Syring.  The work on these projects will be executed at Lamprell’s Sharjah and Hamriyah facilities.
