The first of the two cargoes is being transported onboard the 210,000 cbm Q-Flex LNG carrier Al Bahiya from Qatar’s Ras Laffan complex. The vessel is scheduled to dock at South Hook’s jetty on April 3.

The second cargo is scheduled to arrive only a couple of days later on April 5.

The cargo being transported onboard the 174,000-cbm capacity Creole Spirit MEGI LNG carrier loaded at Cheniere’s Sabine Pass liquefaction and export facility in Louisiana.

The South Hook LNG terminal, owned by Qatar Petroleum, ExxonMobil and Total, can provide around 20 percent of Britain’s natural gas requirements.
