UK: Noreco Starts Drilling on Romeo Prospect
Norwegian Energy Company ASA (Noreco) announces that drilling of an exploration well on the Romeo prospect in the UK North Sea has started.
The Romeo prospect is situated in licence P1666, block 30/11c in a water depth of 280 feet.
The well is being drilled using the semisubmersibles drilling rig WilHunter which is equipped for drilling in water depths up to 1,500 ft (457.2 m).
Noreco has 21,875 percent interest in licence P1666, which is operated by Suncor.
