Ulstein Verft has launched GC Rieber’s offshore construction and well intervention vessel the ‘Polar Onyx’, making her ready for the final outfitting stage at the yard.

The high-capacity subsea newbuild is designed for operations in harsh conditions and deep waters, with a length of 130 meters and a 25 meter beam. The ship can accommodate 130 crew members, and is built according to the latest international environmental standards.

The vessel will commence working for Ceona immediately upon delivery from Ulstein Verft in the first quarter of 2014.
