USA: Corps to Solicit Bids for Galveston Channels Dredging

The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers, Galveston District Office, requires a contract to provide rapid response hopper dredge for unanticipated shoaling at six deep-draft navigation entrance channels within Galveston, Texas.

The solicitation, which will be a firm fixed price, is to be issued on or about July, 10, and the response date is August 8, 2013.

The total value of this development program is between $1 mln and $5 mln.
