Elliott Bay Design Group Welcomes New Staff

Elliott Bay Design Group (EBDG) recently welcomed new staff to its team in New Orleans and Seattle. Mike Wood has joined the firm and will serve as Senior Naval Architect in EBDG’s New Orleans office.

He brings over 13 years of naval architecture and marine engineering expertise to the company and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Louisiana with a diverse background in all aspects of marine vessel construction. He holds an MBA and a BS in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of New Orleans.

Joining Mike in New Orleans is Kelly Pettigrew who will serve as Office Administrator. Prior to joining EBDG, she served as Manager of Member Services for Offshore Marine Service Association (OMSA) for five years. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Loyola University New Orleans. She graduated with honors in Political Science as a member of Phi Sigma Alpha.

Matthew Roddy joins EBDG in Seattle as a Marine Designer. He brings over four years of vessel design experience to EBDG’s designer group. He holds a certificate in yacht design from The Landing School of Boatbuilding and a BS in Alternative Energies from Seattle Pacific University.
