Jordan Cove Wins LNG Export Licence

The U.S. Department of Energy granted a 30-year license for Jordan Cove Energy to export LNG to countries that hold free trade agreements with the United States.

This license allows Jordan Cove Energy to export 9 million metric tons of LNG per year.

The Jordan Cove Energy can now file an application with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission to convert the project to an export terminal.

Jordan Cove project is located within the Oregon International Port of Coos Bay on an undeveloped site zoned for industrial development.
