USA: Sierra Club Promotes Offshore Wind

This Sunday afternoon Sierra Club organised a meeting at Virginia’s most visited state park, First Landing State Park, located by the Chesapeake Bay to promote offshore wind power.

They used kites, pinwheels to show the Congress why they should renew Production Tax Credit for wind energy.

Sierra members said that many local jobs depend on the tax credit.

Sierra Club provided drinks and ice cold watermelons for all the participants of the event.
