Video: Danish Role on Global Offshore Wind Scene
LORC plays a central role in Danish wind industry supplying state-of-the-art testing of wind turbine nacelles.
The non-profit and independent commercial foundation was founded in 2009 by the major players in the offshore renewables sector with an aim to improve product reliability and consequently lower the Cost of Energy extracted from green offshore sources.
In 1991, the world’s first offshore wind farm was installed in Vindeby, Denmark. Since then, Danish offshore wind energy experience and skills are almost always present in any offshore wind project throughout the world.
The following video shows how important the Danish wind industry is in a global perspective.
