VOS Aphrodite Begins Her Charter with Gupco

 VOS Aphrodite was delivered last week to Gupco (Gulf of Suez Petroleum Company, a joint venture between BP and EGPC) at the start of a two-year charter.

The vessel will operate from Ras Shukeir in the Gulf of Suez, together with VOS Apollo. Both vessels have been modified with walk-to-work systems on port and starboard sides.

VOS Aphrodite, a 60m anchor-handling tug supply (AHTS) vessel, is operated by Vroon Offshore Services in Singapore.
