Wheatstone LNG project moves ahead (VIDEO)

Chevron and its partners are progressing well with the construction on the Australian Wheatstone LNG project with the onshore and offshore part almost 50 percent complete.

Chevron posted a video update showing the key construction activities on the LNG project in the third quarter of this year.

The Wheatstone project includes two LNG trains with a combined capacity of 8.9 mtpa plus a 200 terajoule per day domestic gas plant, located 12 kilometres west of Onslow on the Pilbara coast of Western Australia.

Offshore facilities for the liquefaction project include Australia’s largest offshore gas processing platform, with a 225 kilometre trunkline connecting it to the onshore plant.
