World LNG Fuels Conference 2014 to Be Held in Houston

This January’s World LNG Fuels 2014 conference features some 65 speakers, 24 of which operate engines fueled with LNG. The event, which will be held at Houston’s George R. Brown Convention Center, Jan. 21-23, will also display some 70 exhibits of new equipment, technology and services.

“Fleet participation is vital,” said Bob Nimocks, chairman of the World LNG Fuels 2014 program committee. “Leading LNG-fueled fleets in highway trucking, marine, rail, mining and oilfield services are all represented.”

Baker Hughes, Bayou Well Services, Blu LNG, Buquebus, Clean Energy Fuels, CN Railroad, CSX Railroad, Encana, Ferus, Genox, Green Energy Oilfield Services, Harvey Gulf, Kauai Island Utility Cooperative, Maersk Line, Noble Energy, Omya, Pioneer Natural Resources, Prometheus Energy, Renewable Fiber, REV Hoopes Trucking, Schlumberger, Seneca Resources, Texpar, UPS, and Washington State Ferries are among the fleets presenting at the conference.

In its fourth year, the World LNG Fuels 2014 conference is the largest and oldest event globally to focus on LNG fuel use. More than a thousand participants are expected to attend the three-day event, which includes tours of Cummins’ Houston Center of Excellence and INOXCVA’s LNG tank and railcar manufacturing facilities.
