According to the Port of Zeebrugge shipping data, the first cargo is scheduled for delivery on August 8 onboard the 155,000-cbm GasLog Santiago that set off from Qatari Ras Laffan LNG complex on July 20.

Following the delivery of Qatari cargo, Zeebrugge LNG terminal is likely to host a transshipment of Yamal LNG volumes, as the Arctic LNG carrier Nikolay Yevgenov is scheduled to arrive on August 11, the same day as BW’s 173,400-cbm BW Tulip that has booked a loading slot.

In 2015, the Fluxys-operated terminal was chosen by Novatek’s Yamal LNG as transshipment hub under a long-term deal. The original contract includes an annual transshipment of up to 107 LNG cargoes.

On August 17, the Zeebrugge facility is scheduled to receive another Qatari cargo onboard the Q-Flex, 210,000-cbm Umm Al Amad.

The Zeebrugge LNG terminal, that mainly imports LNG from Qatar, has an annual throughput capacity of nine billion cubic meters of natural gas.
