Yemen LNG exports running normal despite maintenance

According to Total’s CEO Patrick Pouyanne, exports from the Yemen LNG facility are running as normal.

Pouyanne told Reuters that one train has been shut down for maintenance, but the production  is running normally.

Following unrests in the country Yemen LNG facility in Balhaf declared force majeure on exports of liquefied natural gas stopping operations on January 18. The force majeure was lifted later in the month.

Sources at Yemen LNG revealed that the maintenance was planned but also executed ahead of schedule and that normal LNG exports would resume as soon as the maintenance is completed.
