Zamakona Hires Representation Agent for Dutch Market

Zamakona Yards (Canary Islands Division) and Atra Holland B.V. inked a commercial agreement last week in order to promote Zamakona’s interests and goodwill for work on repair and conversion of ships, offshore projects and fabrication of heavy structures.

Under the agreement Atra Holland will serve as a non exclusive entrusted agent and it will represent Zamakona’s services in the Netherlands for two years (extended automatically year by year).

Ms Aida J. Barnhoorn, Managing Director of Atra Holland, said: “We are pleased to represent Zamakona Yards and look forward to a fruitful cooperation!”

“Zamakona Yards expects to improve deeply our presence in the Netherlands with this new agency,” the Company said.

Atra Holland B.V. was established in 1979. At that time the company exported ship-equipment to Poland for many newbuildings under construction at three huge yards.

Atra Holland B.V. changed the activities in 1989 and started to represent ship-repair yards in the Netherlands, the first ones being Polish repair yards.
