SENER to Present New FORAN Release V70R2.0 at Russian FORUM 2012

The Russian FORAN Users Meeting 2012 (Russian FORUM 2012) organized in collaboration between SENER and SMART MARINE, will take place in December the 13th, at the Hotel Ambassador in Saint Petersburg. As in previous occasions, it will have a significant participation from some of the most important Russian shipyards and design offices, and this year we will be honored with the participation of the British “BAE SYSTEMS” and the Spanish “NAVANTIA”.

During the event, SENER will present the new FORAN release V70R2.0 with the latest improvements incorporated in all the areas of the System (Hull Forms, General Arrangement and Naval Architecture, Hull Structure, Outfitting, Electrical, Accommodation, Build Strategy, Drafting, Virtual Reality & Design Review and Design Change and Access Control). Engineers from SENER also will carry out some technical demonstrations to illustrate the FORAN improvements. Finally, SENER will describe the FORAN short and long term future developments, and will answer questions and suggestions from the audience.

The attendance will have the opportunity to debate the present and future of FORAN, giving their opinions about the new developments to be introduced in FORAN in the future. They also will present some particular FORAN experiences of general interest.

With the aim of showing the FORAN improvements and to exchange impressions among users in a decisive shipbuilding, the Russian FORAN FORUM grants the opportunity to strength the communication channels between SENER and the FORAN users in Russia, where SENER has clients since seventies and is still growing year by year.
