HVS Holds 2012 New Year Meeting

In the morning of January 3rd 2012, the 2012 New Year Meeting has been held at Quay 3. Giving a speech at the meeting, Mr. Lee Young Hoon President stated that 2012 would be a difficult year for global ship building in general and HVS in particular due to recent economic slump.

However, he believes that challenge will also mean new opportunity if all HVS employees unite to build an ever developed and sustainable Hyundai Vinashin by HVS good working tradition. In addition, HVS Leaders always understand the role of each employee in helping HVS overcome all difficulties on the way to become a leading shipyard of the world..

On this occasion, Mr. Lee Young Hoon also offered the promotion decisions to 8 representatives of 118 employees who have been promoted to higher positions since Jan 1st 2012.
