Okskaya Launches Ninth Tanker of Project RST27

Russian shipbuilder Okskaya (Oka) has launched the ninth sea/river tanker of project RST27, the ‘VF Tanker – 19′. Project RST27 vessels, designed by Marine Engineering Bureau, are constructed for the shipping company V.F.Tanker (part of VBTH, majority owned by Universal Cargo Logistics Holding).

Special requirements of the Russian and world petroleum companies, additional ecological RS limitations of “ECO PROJECT” (ECO-S) class were taken into consideration during designing.

Project RST27 vessels satisfy dimensions of the Volga-Don Canal and Volga-Baltic Way. Overall RST27 project vessel’s length is of 140.85m, breadth is of 16.6m, depth is of 6.0m.

RST27 project vessels are assigned for transportation of crude oil and oil products, without flash point restrictions.

Crew will consists of 12 persons (14 places + pilot).

Autonomy is of 20/12 days (sea/river).
