The vessel will be completed by Zhejiang Xinle Shipbuilding under supervision of Anthony Veder and is expected to be ready for worldwide trading in the summer of 2019, according to the company.

Anthony Veder said the vessel would be renamed with a Coral name following delivery. The company added that it would handle the commercial operation and ship management.

“We are proud to add a new LNG carrier to our fleet in this relatively short time frame and look forward to our close cooperation with Xinle Shipbuilding to finalize the vessel,” said Jan Valkier, CEO of Anthony Veder.

“Our company has a long history in building and delivering ships in China such as the LNG-fuelled LEG vessels Coral Star and Coral Sticho. We are excited to return to China for this latest addition to our fleet after five years of absence.”

Anthony Veder currently operates a mixed fleet of 30 gas and ethylene, LNG and CO2 carriers, according to data found on the company’s website.
