Fabricom Awarded $130 Mln Gudrun, Gina Krog Platforms Job

Norwegian oil company Statoil has awarded Fabricom AS the contract for maintenance and modification on the Gudrun platform, starting August 2013 until August 2020 including two options of 2 year.In addition, the contract includes an option that Fabricom AS will execute the maintenance and modification on the Gina Krog platform currently under construction. The estimated total value of the contract is calculated to 800 MNOK (approximately USD 130 million).

“We are very pleased with this award and see it as recognition of Fabricoms M&M execution ability and a great honor to our team serving Statoil,” says Fabricom CEO Stanley Maas. The new contract adds up to Fabricom’s current Statoil M&M portfolio with Sleipner as main scope of work.

The Gudrun platform is located 55 km north of the Sleipner platform. Gina Krog is an oil and gas platform to be placed 30 km North West of Sleipner and planned in operation from Q1 2017.
