Qatar ships more LNG to UK

The United Kingdom’s liquefied natural gas terminal at the shores of Milford Haven waterway is set to receive the fourth September cargo of LNG.

According to shipping data, the 263,000 cbm Q-Max LNG carrier Lijmiliya set off from Qatar’s Ras Laffan and it is scheduled to dock at the South Hook terminal’s jetty on September 14.

The fourth September cargo comes only days after a Q-Flex LNG carrier Al Hamla unloads its cargo at the terminal.

The vessel built Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering in 2009 is currently sailing through the Mediterranean Sea, off Egypt, shipping data shows.

Qatar Petroleum owns 67.5 per cent of South Hook LNG Terminal, ExxonMobil owns 24.15 per cent and Total SA owns the rest.
