Peru’s only liquefaction facility at Pampa Melchorita loaded and dispatched a cargo of the chilled gas to Japan on November 12.

According to Perupetro, the cargo is being transported onboard the 173,400 cbm Barcelona Knutsen.

Perupetro’s data reveals that the latest cargo is only the second one dispatched to Japan in 2015. The previous cargo was delivered to Chubu Electric’s Kawagoe LNG terminal onboard the 173,600 cbm Castillo de Santisteban in March.

Including the last shipment, Peru loaded 294 cargoes at the liquefaction plant since the operations started in June 2010, 30 of which have been sent to Japan.
