Peru’s natural liquefaction and export facility at Pampa Melchorita dispatched its 350th cargo over the past weekend.

Teekay’s 135,423 cbm LNG carrier Madrid Spirit loaded its cargo and departed on Saturday, September 4, and set course for Spain, according to the shipping data.

State-owned Perupetro did not reveal the exact destination of the vessel. Out of last four cargoes dispatched from Peru to Spain three have been delivered to Bilbao, Cartagena and Mugardos LNG terminals.

Hispania Spirit that left the Peruvian facility on August 12 is currently sailing in the Atlantic Ocean off the Moroccan coast, according to AIS data provided by the vessel tracking website, MarineTraffic.

The latest cargo loaded at the 4.4 mtpa liquefaction plant is the eight LNG cargo Peru sent to Spain in 2016.
